We have many opportunities to volunteer across the US and worldwide. Our volunteers are crucial to stopping the silence and most volunteer activities can be done at during a time that suits your schedule.

    Fundraising: Storefront solicitation (e.g., at Giant, Safeway, toy stores, etc.)
    Fundraising: House-to-house solicitation (using the pledge form)
    Fundraising: Organizational outreach (e.g., to community and/or religious groups)
    Fundraising: Grant writing
    Fundraising: Organizing a happy hour/dinner
    Educational outreach (e.g., contacting schools, religious institutions or other community-based groups or individuals) for talks, assemblies and/or presentations
    Database development/Direct mail outreach
    Public Relations
    Group Counseling for survivors and/or protective guardians (this position requires a licensed mental health professional, e.g., LCSW, licensed counselor, psychologist)
    Administrative duties
   
Pepsi’s 5th Annual International Race to Stop the Silence: Stop CSA 10K Race and 5K Walk will be held at 8:30 am Sunday, April 13, 2008 in Anacostia Park, Washington DC.

We need volunteers to assist in the development of the event, and on the actual day of the event.The following volunteer opportunities are for a few hours/week and will begin in Oct. 2007.
